Drill & Fill Applications
A drill and fill application consists of installing lose material, typically cellulose insulation, into a small hole cut into a wall. The material is Blown-In insulation and is used to seal around pipes, holes, gaps, and cracks. It also works well around cables, doors, and windows. Without proper insulation in walls, air leakage can account for about 25% – 40% of the energy produced by HVAC units – and that adds up to lots of money.

The nice thing about drill and fill applications is that we don’t have to tear down a wall or ceiling to add the needed insulation. A simple 2″ circular hole is cut into a wall or ceiling and the fill is blown directly in to fill the air leaks and spaces. It is quick, clean and effective. We then patch the wall and paint it. The benefits gained by this technique make your home environmentally sustainable. It reduces your utility costs simply by improving efficiency.
